Meeting Excursions

An important part of ITEX meetings is the opportunity for everyone to do activities outside together to connect and to experience the local environment.

You can choose the excursions here:

Trip 1: A short hike in Golden Ears Provincial Park - near Loon Lake Lodge

Wednesday April 10 - in the afternoon after the meeting. Bus from Loon Lake to Golden Ears then to Vancouver ($45)

Trip 2: Mountains to Ocean in Vancouver

Thursday April 11 - Metro Vancouver has three ski areas and ocean coastlines and beaches. We will experience the unique nature of this wonderful place with a tour/hike in the Cypress Park and ski area and then through the trails of Lighthouse Park with large trees and a rocky coastline overlooking English Bay and Vancouver. Bus cost for the day will be $60.

 Trip 3: Tour of UBC Campus

Friday April 12 -  A morning walk around the beautiful UBC Campus at Point Grey. This is a free tour.

Trip 4: Backcountry skiing/snowshoe trip to Elfin Lakes Cabin

We are sorry but this trip has been cancelled due to lack of interest.
